The Camp
Fairmont Mara Safari Club is located north west of Masai Mara in the “ol-choro oiroua” conservation area at the foot of the “Aitong hills. Set on the ox-bow of mara river, all tents have their own private footage of the hippo-filled river. The main building is made of natural material that blends with the surrounding – housing the lounge, bar and the dining room, which is cantilevered out over the river.
Getting to Fairmont Mara Safari club
Approximately 275 kilometres from Nairobi demanding about 6 hours of driving. 45 minutes by air from Nairobi and Nanyuki. The airstrip in Masai Mara is called Ngerende.
