This Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge safari can also include a train journey from Mombasa to Voi to connect with your driver. Based on client preference, the tour can also end at the Taveta border. This safari is suitable for all age groups.

Stay at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge

Day 1: Mombasa – Sarova Salt Lick Lodge

Early morning departure from your hotel/residence, followed by a drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi road via Voi Town to Taita Wildlife Sanctuary.

Enjoy a mid-morning game drive after entry. Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary hosts four of the Big Five species and is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park.

Lunch will be served at the lodge. Enjoy excellent views and photographic opportunities from the lodge lobby and terrace areas.

Visit the underground tunnel and bunker with ground-level windows that provide incredibly close, yet safe, views of animals as they gather at the waterhole and salt licks.

Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge.

Day 2: Sarova Salt Lick – Mombasa

Start the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast. Return to the lodge for breakfast.

After check-out, proceed for a short game drive before exiting the sanctuary.

Drive back to the Kenya coast, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or residence.
