Fly-in (Air Safari) Masai Mara Safari Package: This safari starts from any of Kenya’s coastal cities—Mombasa, Diani, Malindi, or Watamu.
This safari features the Maasai Mara National Reserve. It departs from Mombasa or Ukunda Airport in the morning and includes a scenic flight over the Rift Valley. Arrival in the Masai Mara is scheduled in time for lunch, followed by a late afternoon game drive introducing you to Kenya’s most popular wildlife sanctuary.
You will stay in the Masai Mara for two nights at a lodge of your choice before flying back to Mombasa, Diani, Watamu, or Malindi. Alternatively, you may end this safari in Nairobi by flying there instead of returning to the coast.
Stay at Ashnil Mara Camp in the Masai Mara
Day 1: Flight from the Kenyan Coast to the Masai Mara Game Reserve
You will be picked up from your Mombasa hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to the Masai Mara, departing at 7:30 AM. You will arrive at approximately 10:15 AM.
Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred to the camp with an introductory game drive en route. Arrive in time for lunch at Ashnil Mara Camp, followed by relaxation by the pool.
Ashnil Mara Camp features 50 luxury tents and is located within the Masai Mara National Reserve, close to the Mara River, which is famous for the wildebeest migration. The camp is ideally positioned for excellent game viewing and provides a perfect setting to relax after an exciting day of safari activities.
Nestled within a small forest overlooking the Mara River, the camp is approximately 45 minutes from Keekorok and 30 minutes from Olkiombo Airstrip. It is well known for its stunning location, comfortable accommodation, excellent cuisine, and quality service.
Later, enjoy an evening game drive from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara – Full-Day Game Drive
Spend the day on a full-day game drive in search of the Big Five and other wildlife that inhabit this vast savannah. The game drive typically runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a picnic lunch served on the banks of the Mara River.
Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari, a visit to a Maasai village, and guided nature walks.
Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Transfer to Mombasa / Diani / Malindi / Nairobi (By Flight)
After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for a final game drive as you head to the airstrip for your return flight to Mombasa, Diani, or Malindi. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Alternatively, after breakfast, enjoy a short game drive before heading to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi, departing at 11:15 AM and arriving at approximately 12:15 PM. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch, followed by a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
