Itinerary:
Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East
You will be picked from your hotel in the morning then drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi road to Tsavo East National park. Enter the park via Bachuma gate and embark on game viewing drive with chances of encountering elephants, lions, buffalos, cheetah, zebras, giraffe, antelopes, and more. You will then visit the famous Aruba dam where lots of game animals and bird species can be found especially during the dry spell.
Then, you will proceed to Voi Safari Lodge, check-in and have your buffet lunch. After lunch and a short rest, you will venture out for an afternoon game drive through the vast Tsavo East National Park in search for more game animals before returning back to Voi Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Today’s meal plan includes lunch and dinner.
Day 2: Tsavo East to Amboseli
After breakfast, you will go on a safari game drive in Tsavo East then exit the park and join the Mombasa-Nairobi road and drive to Amboseli National Park. You will then enter Amboseli through Iremito gate and begin game drive as you head towards the Sentrim Amboseli Safari Camp or Kibo Safari Camp for check-in and lunch. At 4 p.m., you will go for another game drive until 6:30 p.m.
In Amboseli, you will have a chance to see animals at close range and also you can see animals from a distance since Amboseli is flat savannah plains. You also have a chance to see big African elephants very close and the highest mountain in Africa Mount Kilimanjaro. Afterwards, you will have dinner and stay overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Safari Camp or Kibo Safari Camp. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 3: Amboseli to Mombasa
You will embark on an early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. You will later check out of the lodge with safari game drive en-route as you leave Amboseli National Park to join the Mombasa-Nairobi road and drive to Mombasa with lunch en-route. Arrival in Mombasa will be in the evening. Today’s meal plan includes breakfast and lunch.
