Itinerary
Day 1: Flight from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
At 06:45 hours, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport. The flight to Amboseli National Park departs from Wilson Airport at 07:30 hours and arrives at Amboseli Airstrip at 08:15 hours. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by a Hallmark Travel Planners guide and transferred to the lodge. You will enjoy a morning game drive before proceeding to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, relax at the lodge until 16:30 hours, when you begin the afternoon game drive that continues until sunset.
Game viewing is an adventure in this park, with lions, cheetahs, and buffalo almost guaranteed sightings, along with numerous antelope, zebras, and other small wildlife. Birdlife is abundant. However, the most impressive inhabitants of this arid landscape are the elephants, moving in large herds in their daily migration to water sources. For safari seekers, Amboseli is ideal for big game photography. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
At 06:30 hours, enjoy coffee before proceeding for an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. A mid-morning game drive for those interested begins at 10:00 hours and continues until midday. After lunch at the lodge, you will have the early afternoon at leisure until 16:30 hours, when you head out for an evening game drive that continues until dusk. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 3: Flight from Amboseli to Nairobi to Ol Pejeta
After breakfast at the lodge, you will check out and be transferred with a brief game drive en route to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. The flight departs at 08:30 hours and arrives at Wilson Airport, Nairobi, at 09:15 hours. You will then connect to another flight to Nanyuki, arriving at 09:50 hours. Upon arrival, you will be met by a company representative and proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000-acre private wildlife conservancy situated on the equator between the foothills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kenya.
The conservancy boasts an incredible variety of wildlife, including the “Big Five” (endangered black and white rhinos, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and lion), Grevy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest, cheetah, and chimpanzees. The combination of abundant wildlife and stunning views across the open plains guarantees an unforgettable safari experience. After lunch, relax until 16:30 hours before heading out for an evening game drive until dusk. Dinner and overnight stay at Serena Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Day 4: Full Day in Sweetwaters Sanctuary
At 06:30 hours, a wake-up call followed by coffee. Proceed on a morning game drive until breakfast time, usually around 08:30 hours. After breakfast, you may choose to go on another game drive or relax by the pool. At 16:30 hours, depart for an afternoon game drive that continues until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Day 5: Flight from Nanyuki to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, check out of your rooms. With your luggage packed, drive to the airstrip with a brief game drive en route. The flight to Maasai Mara departs at 10:30 hours and arrives at approximately 11:30 hours. Upon arrival, you will be met by the lodge or camp vehicle and transferred to your lodge. Lunch will be served at the lodge. Relax until 16:30 hours, when you proceed for an afternoon game drive until sunset.
Situated in the heart of the Great Rift Valley and covering an area of 1,812 sq. km, Maasai Mara—Kenya’s leading game reserve—lies on the border between Kenya and Tanzania and forms the northern extension of the renowned Serengeti plains. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge or Mara Intrepids Club.
Day 6: Full Day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Begin with an early morning game drive at 06:30 hours. Return to the camp for breakfast. Relax at the lodge until lunchtime. At 16:30 hours, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the reserve until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge or Mara Intrepids Club.
Day 7: Game Drive – Flight from Maasai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast at the lodge, check out and depart with a game drive en route to the airstrip.
Board your morning flight from Maasai Mara back to Wilson Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred either to your hotel or to the airport for your onward flight home.
