Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your Nairobi hotel. Use of the room is not guaranteed before noon. The remainder of the day is at leisure. At 19:00 hrs, you will be transferred to the Carnivore Restaurant for dinner. Overnight at The Nairobi Safari Club or Hotel InterContinental, or a similar hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning departure for a drive via Mombasa Road to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the respective lodge. In the late afternoon, enjoy a game viewing drive. Amboseli National Park is a jewel tucked beneath the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dust devils swirl around the edges, but at the heart of the park lies a remarkable swamp—an oasis where elephants, buffalo, gazelles, egrets, and many other animals gather peacefully. The Amboseli elephants are among the most studied in the world, living alongside the renowned Maasai culture. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or a similar lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure. Lunch at the lodge. At 16:30 hours, proceed for an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or a similar lodge.
Day 4: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast, depart with packed lunches heading towards Lake Nakuru. In the afternoon, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. Just before sunset, drive to Lake Naivasha for an overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or a similar lodge.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara
After breakfast, commence your drive west past Mount Longonot and via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the respective lodge or camp. In the late afternoon, enjoy a game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge, Mara Simba Lodge, or Sarova Mara Tented Camp.
Days 6 and 7: Days in Maasai Mara
Wildebeest tracking in the Maasai Mara plains and riverbanks. Enjoy morning and late afternoon game viewing drives in this reserve, known for its spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve attracts visitors from all over the world. Each year, from late June to October, the reserve hosts the world-famous Great Migration.
As the rains bring the grasslands to life, the vast plains thunder with the movement of over 1.5 million wildebeest and zebras migrating from the Serengeti into the Maasai Mara. The endless flow of wildlife across the green plains creates one of the most breathtaking natural spectacles on Earth. All meals and overnight at Keekorok Lodge, Mara Simba Lodge, or Sarova Mara Tented Camp.
Day 8: Drive Maasai Mara to Nairobi – Departure
After breakfast at the lodge or camp, embark on your return journey to Nairobi. Upon arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel (not included) or transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled international departure flight.
